About Me

A blond-haired green-eyed girl received a 126 film camera when she was only ten years old. Her first outing was the 5th grade field trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. What fun she had looking through the lens at the lions, bears and the giant colorful carp in the wishing pond! It was there that she began her life-long love of photography. While attending college a fellow photographer encouraged her to invest in a used professional camera from B&H photography. It was the best $128.00 that she ever spent! Taking photos with her new Canon camera took her to a whole new level. Gorgeous crystal-clear pictures really encouraged her to expand her subjects and include new frontiers. Through the years she has done work as a professional freelancer including everything from Sr. pictures to photo-journalism. Due to her children being involved in athletics she learned sport photography and has enjoyed shooting at Carter Christian Academy and Kentucky Christian University. Her biggest challenge has been making her current lenses do the job of more expensive equipment! She decided to upload her work to be able to share with both family, students and others. Enjoy photos of KCU and CCA!
